Terms of participation

Eligibility
1. This promotion is open to all persons aged 18 or over resident in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands), other than employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

How to Enter
3. You will require internet access and an email address to enter the promotion.

4. A purchase is necessary to enter the promotion.

5. To enter this promotion, prior to the Closing Date (as defined below) you must:
a. purchase a promotional 500ml bottle of ERDINGER Weissbier (Product) from any UK stockist while stocks last;
b. scan the QR code which appears on the neck collar of the Product or visit https://summer.erdiner.com/uk.hefe (Microsite);
c. complete the online form on the Microsite by inserting your full name, email address and the unique reference number (URN) which can be found printed inside the neck collar of the Product; and
d. retain your till receipt obtained when purchasing the Product (Receipt) as proof of purchase until at least 31st July 2025.

6. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this promotion. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

7. The promotion starts at 00:00 on 21st April 2025. (Opening Date). All entries must be received before the promotion closes at 23:59 on 29th June 2025 (Closing Date). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received by the Closing Date for any reason. Proof of sending shall not be deemed to be proof receipt.

8. Entries are unlimited for the duration of this promotion, save that each URN qualifies (and is valid only) for one entry, so that no more than one entry can be made for each Product purchased. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.

Prize
There are a total of 1010 prizes to be won including:

a. 10 x 1 Packages, each of which includes the following (First Prize):

b. 1000 x 1 special edition ERDINGER pint glasses, 100 to be won each week of the promotion (Second Prize)*.

*This is the maximum number of winnings per week. If the number of participants per week is lower, fewer winnings will be determined in the respective week. There is no carryover of winnings to the following week(s).


9. No more than one prize may be won per person.

10. Any further prize details will be confirmed when the winner is contacted. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of at least equal value if circumstances make this necessary.

11. Each prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternative will be offered.

Selection of Winners

First Prize

12. The winners will be the first 10 entries drawn at random from all eligible entries by a computer process that produces verifiably random results. Winners will be contacted by email within seven days of the Closing Date using the details provided to enter the promotion. Non-winning entrants will not be notified.

13. To claim their prize, winners must provide:
a. a valid Receipt as proof of purchase; and
b. their full UK delivery address

14. to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified that they have won.

15. Prizes will be dispatched to the winners by Courier to the address provided within 28 days of the winner claiming their prize. At the request of the delivery service provider, the recipient must produce proof of age to confirm they are aged 18 or over before the prize will be delivered.

16. The prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner drawn at the Promoter’s sole discretion in the following events:
a. a winner is disqualified under the Terms and Conditions of this promotion;
b. the prize is declined, or a winner cannot take up their prize;
c. a winner fails to provide their Receipt or to confirm their UK delivery address within 14 days of being notified they have won;
d. satisfactory proof of age is not provided to the delivery service provider upon request; or
e. delivery of the prize is refused or cannot be completed using reasonable attempts.

The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of a winner to produce a valid Receipt (whether through loss or damage, or for any other reason) or for any inability of a winner to take up the prize.

Second Prize

16. 100 Second Prize winners will be drawn on the Monday of each week of the promotion (commencing on 21th April 2025 with the final draw taking place on 30th June 2025) from all valid entries received during the preceding week until all 1,000 Second Prizes have been awarded. A list of draw dates and corresponding entries is provided below:

17. All entries received between 00:00 on Monday up to 23:59 on Sunday will be entered into the next scheduled draw.

18. The winners will be the first 100 entries drawn at random each week from all valid entries received during the previous week by a computer process that produces verifiably random results. The Promoter will contact the winners by email within 48 hours of each draw taking place using the contact details provided by the winners to enter the promotion.

19. To claim a Second Prize, winners must provide their full UK delivery address to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified that they have won. A Second Prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner drawn at the promoter's sole discretion if:
a. the prize is declined, or a winner cannot take up their prize;
b. a winner is disqualified under the Terms and Conditions of this promotion;
c. a winner fails to confirm their UK delivery address within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter that they have won; or
d. delivery of the prize is refused or cannot be completed using reasonable attempts.

20. If you need to amend the contact details you provided to enter the promotion or wish to withdraw your entry from this promotion, please contact the Promoter in writing at gewinnspiel@erdinger.de.

21. To obtain the name and county of the winner, please email gewinnspiel@erdinger.de within three months of the Closing Date. Entrants can object to disclosure or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting the Promoter. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.

General

22. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and / or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms.

23. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify entries deemed to be non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of the promotion. This includes any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this paragraph by tampering with the operation of the promotion, setting up multiple accounts or using multiple identities. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. The Promoter’s decision as to any aspect of this promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered in to and there is no right of appeal.

24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any URNs, entries or winner notifications which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the promotion or to download any materials in connection with the promotion.

25. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

26. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

27. This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Consumers in Scotland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.
